what do you think... Very nice hostel with friendly staff. It was almost empty when I was there so I can't tell wether it can be fun or not, but the room was good with its own bathroom. Banska Bystrica is not so big and the hostel is 3 minutes away from the main square. Security can't be better with all the doors to open. The location is great, right in the center, and the price for the room is reasonable. Showers and toilets are not so luxorious, but what can you demand for this price. Internet access is included in price and laundry is available for small extra fee, which is a really nice service for backpackers. Aki, Finland, June 2010 One of the best places I have ever been to! In the city centre, close to bars (live music, good atmosphere and kind people), restaurants (tasty Slovak specialities) and places of interest (clock tower, SNP museum...). Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, and above all, Petra is very welcoming, helpful, and full of energy! Banska Bystrica is very pretty and there are a lot of things to do around the town (canoeing, small villages with wooden churches, caves, castles...). You should not miss it!!
